EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg — known as EAP, or by its IATA code BSL — is a tri-border airport shared between Switzerland, France and Germany. The terminal building itself sits on French soil, but a physical internal separation splits the Swiss sector from the French sector, each with its own customs formalities and its own road access. Arriving passengers choose which side to exit through — and for a Europa-Park transfer, the French side is the relevant one. That is where our driver waits with a name board, in the arrivals hall after customs. The airport is 95 kilometres from Europa-Park. The drive takes 1 hour 30 minutes in normal conditions, along the A35 from Saint-Louis up to Colmar, then crossing the Rhine at Marckolsheim onto the German A5, and continuing north to the Rust exit. Border crossing is seamless — no stopping in either direction for our licensed vehicles. BSL is dominated by low-cost carriers. easyJet operates a major base here with wide UK and Iberian peninsula connectivity (London Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh, Belfast, Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona). Ryanair flies from Dublin, London Stansted and several secondary European airports. Wizz Air adds Central European and Turkish destinations. That mix makes BSL the single most important airport for British, Irish and Portuguese visitors coming to Europa-Park.
A35 northbound from Saint-Louis through Mulhouse and Colmar, then crossing the Rhine at Marckolsheim onto the German A5 up to exit 57b Rust. Scenic drive through Alsace, no tolls.
We pull your flight status live from the airline API. Early arrivals, delays, diversions to another airport — we see them as they happen and adjust the pickup automatically.
All drivers speak fluent English. French and German on top for any cross-border question, restaurant booking or hotel pickup coordination on the same trip.
Your price is locked at booking. Not at landing. Not on arrival. No late-night surcharge, no luggage surcharge, no surprise when the driver sees the size of the pushchair.
Our fleet is insured across France, Germany and Switzerland with a 5 million euro liability policy. Fully compliant for cross-border passenger transport.
Families of five with prams and Ryanair luggage — V-Class van. Couples on a long-weekend trip — E-Class sedan. Both are Mercedes, both under three years old, both dealership serviced.
Jusqu’à 7 passagers avec bagages. Espace business, climatisation 3 zones, prises USB, Wi-Fi à bord.
Mercedes Classe E ou équivalent. Idéal couples et business, confort cuir, cabine silencieuse.
Process
Enter your BSL arrival flight number, passenger count and vehicle preference. Fixed price appears instantly.
From the moment we have your flight number, our system watches departure status, expected arrival time and gate changes.
Driver in the French-side Arrivals hall with name board. If you need 45 extra minutes at customs, we wait.
Drop-off at the Europa-Park main gate, or at the Rulantica entrance, or at your Europa-Park resort hotel.
When you enter your flight number at booking, we start watching it the moment schedule data becomes available. We see pushback, wheels-up, cruise, approach and touchdown in near-real time. Our driver receives adjusted-ETA pings every 5 minutes inside the last hour. You do not need to call us on landing, you do not need to text us from the taxi queue — your driver is already there, and the waiting clock only starts after you pass customs.
FAQ
Pickup location, flight tracking, waiting time, return trips, child seats and budgets.
At the French-side Arrivals hall, at the Meeting Point near exit 2 (past customs). Our driver holds a name board with your surname. If you exit through the Swiss side by mistake, call the number on your confirmation and we will redirect — there is pedestrian access between the two sectors.
We track it live via the airline API. Up to 45 minutes of extra waiting time is built into the price with no additional charge. Beyond 45 minutes we contact you to agree an extended wait or a rescheduling at no penalty, depending on the situation.
€185 in the E-Class sedan (up to 3 passengers) and €235 in the V-Class van (up to 7 passengers), one way. Fixed price including tolls, luggage, border paperwork. Round-trip package comes with 15% off the total, so about €314 sedan / €400 van.
Yes, same price as a drop-off at the main park entrance. The resort hotels are a few hundred metres from the park within the resort perimeter. Just specify the hotel name at booking. The driver uses the dedicated hotel access road rather than the main car park.
Yes. French Schengen-external arrivals (Dublin, London Stansted, Manchester) typically clear passport control in 20 to 45 minutes depending on the crowd. Our waiting period of 45 minutes absorbs this entirely. For particularly long queues, we extend at no charge.
No, we do not charge extra for late-evening or early-morning transfers from BSL. The fixed price applies 24/7, which is useful for the many Ryanair flights arriving after 22:00 from UK and Portuguese hubs. All our drivers are on call 24/7 for airport transfers.
Yes, with two Mercedes V-Class vans operating in convoy — leaving together, arriving together. Second vehicle receives a 10% discount. Practical for hen/stag parties and family groups. Pre-book 48 hours in advance to secure both vehicles for the same time slot.
The system charges in euros. Your card issuer handles the currency conversion at their published rate. Some cards apply a 1-3% foreign transaction fee; check with your bank if this matters for you. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Apple Pay.
